SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITIES
Both Harlan and Lori are active members of their local Farm Bureau, where Harlan also serves on the board. They volunteer regularly in the Washington County School System for agriculture related education opportunities, FFA and 4-H events and more.
Being close to Georgia College and State University makes it convenient for students to earn service hours on the farm. Many students who are a part of Campus Outreach, have enjoyed home cooked farm to table meals provided monthly by the Archers.
The Life Enrichment Center of Milledgeville provides community activities for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults. The farmhouse is often a destination for them to participate in gardening and art related projects.
